In her upcoming exhibition of graphite on vellum drawings entitled "The Chase," Collier Schorr uses sign language as a metaphor for our inability to communicate with one another, coupled with text describing an obsessive, predatory pursuit. Schorr reveals to us a vision of the world in which a seduction becomes a dangerous encounter, and intimacy becomes not risk, but a threat.
