The exhibition is the first large solo show of Jeppe Hein (born 1974) in Denmark since 2009. A selection of works will be presented questioning, with a spiritual approach to some extent, how we sense our bodies and the world inside ourselves. How do we breathe and how do we sense our breath inside our body? What does silence smell like and can silence be a scent at all? Do colours release energies and how can something as ephemeral as air and breath be captured?In recent years the artist occupied himself with yoga, meditation and Eastern philosophies extensively influencing both his life as well as his art. All of the works in the exhibition have in common that they encourage visitors in a playful and inviting way to examine existential questions and explore what it means to be a human being.
